Bath Christmas Markets welcome the Festive Season – Whirlpool Baths
on handmade and fairtrade items.
Though shopping is clearly the main attraction, there will no shortage of things to do for those wanting to take a break from gift hunting. The market hosts three separate performance areas as well as a Victorian Carousel. There’s no need to leave the market for sustenance, either, with stalls selling everything from gluwein and mulled cider to sausages and crepes.
The markets also boast an impressive entertainment line-up including a variety of children’s entertainers, carol singers, and musicians. Those lucky enough to be in attendance tomorrow can see Hollywood actor Nicholas Cage switch on Bath’s Christmas Lights, provided they get in early enough—the event is free to attend, but only 3,000 people will be allowed in to the viewing area on Milsom Street.
